Following the series of events that revolutionized and strengthened the involvement and stronghold of the youth of Angeles City, the organizers are presenting the Year 2 of the Angeles City’ Ten Outstanding Youth Awards.
As the famous line from our national hero goes, “The youth is the hope of our future”, the organizers would like to recognize the youth all over the City, especially those who have achieved excellence in their fields of endeavor, by means of the Year 2 of the TOY Awards.
The TOY Awards believes that recognizing the achievements and contributions of the Angeleño youth will bring empowerment and advancement to the youth of the City and in their community and/or barangay. This pursuit wishes to acknowledge the aptitude of the Angeleño youth to gain the ability, authority, and/or agency to make decisions and implement change/s in their own lives and the lives of other people, including youth and adults.
To recognize the outstanding youth of Angeles City for the second year since it was started, the organizers will be soon opening the nominations for the Angeles City’s Ten Outstanding Youth of Angeles City (TOY) Awards for 2009.
Areas that are taken into considerations include: academic performance, remarkable leadership skills, altruistic community involvement, and praise-worthy personal values, which will be commended respectively in ten (10) separate awards on different fields and sector that will be will be chosen amongst those who will be nominated.
